Tadić again failed to appear for the Provisional Investigative Committee hearing

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Gordana Tadić, Chief Prosecutor of the State Prosecutor's Office, did not attend the session of the Provisional Investigative Committee of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament today either. 

Tadić was supposed to be heard about the work and situation in the BiH Prosecutor's Office. Instead, as the Committee Chairperson Damir Arnaut told Patria, Chief Prosecutor Tadić sent a letter stating that she had prior commitments. 

Her new testimony has been proposed for September 24. Tadić had previously postponed her appearance before the Committee, Patria writes.

We remind you that the President of the BiH Court, Ranko Debevec, also did not appear before the Committee, citing prior commitments. 

Debevec proposed a new hearing date, October 8.

Damir Arnaut said that they have scheduled several new testimonies and that they are working much better in relation to the activity plan. 

Branislav Borenović said that Tadić accepted this Committee as a parliamentary body, and that during her testimony, it should be seen what needs to be done to improve the judiciary. 

"We must move from a standstill when it comes to matters in the judiciary. It is important that we have the opportunity to talk about it in one place. For me, this is useful, and after three or four months, I have a clearer picture of what we need to have a better judiciary," said Borenović.
