Motorhead, Coldplay and Foo Fighters have joined U2 in cancelling their performances due to the terrorist attack in Paris in which 129 people were killed and 350 injured, reports the BH news agency Patria.
Members of the band U2 paid tribute to the victims in front of the Bataclan hall, where a concert by the American band Eagles of Death Metal was taking place during the attack, and one of its members was killed.
U2 frontman Bono Vox said this was the first direct attack on music in this war on terror, or whatever they call it.
U2 was supposed to perform on Saturday at the Bataclan hall, but instead laid flowers in front of the hall for all the victims of the attack.
