Witnesses speak out: They spoke fluent French and said they were Al-Qaeda

Numerous witnesses to the horrific attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in the heart of Paris. Among them is a woman who let the attackers into the building because they threatened her with a weapon, reports the Patria news agency.

Several witnesses to the bloody rampage by three heavily armed attackers are journalists from the agency that operated in the building where Charlie Hebdo's offices were also located.

Charlie Hebdo employee Corine Rey, who signed her cartoons with 'Coco', said she let the attackers into the building when they threatened her with a weapon.

- They shot Wolinski, Cabu, it lasted about five minutes, I hid under a table, they spoke perfect French... they said they were Al-Qaeda - Rey said.

- We heard shooting in the street. We saw hooded men carrying Kalashnikovs entering the building. We called the police. After a few minutes, we heard shooting. We went up to the roof.

Ten minutes later, we saw two armed men leaving for the street. Three police officers arrived on bicycles but left because the attackers were armed. Much more shooting was heard in the street. The attackers drove away in a car - said one of the journalists.
