All Employees COVID Positive: Novo Sarajevo Civil Registry Office Closed Until Further Notice

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - We inform all citizens of Sarajevo, especially citizens of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality, that the Civil Registry Office of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality will not provide services in the coming days because all employees of the office have tested positive for the coronavirus, the municipality said in a press release.

"Given that the Civil Registry Office employs staff who have special authorizations to access citizens' personal data, it is not possible for other municipal officials to replace them during their absence. Therefore, all citizens who need extracts from birth, death, marriage registers and certificates of citizenship are asked to request them from other municipalities of the Sarajevo Canton," the notice states.

Citizens will be informed in a timely manner about the resumption of operations of the Novo Sarajevo Civil Registry Office.
