Everyone to Jajce: Today is the 2nd International Waterfall Jumps

More than 30 jumpers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Slovenia, and Serbia will compete today in jumps from the waterfall in Jajce, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

There will be 50 jumps, ten of which are exhibition jumps, and trophies will be awarded to the top three jumpers, the best exhibition jumper, and a transitional trophy that will have a new owner next year.

Approximately 21 meters high, formed at the confluence of the Pliva and Vrbas rivers, the waterfall in Jajce is considered by many to be among the ten most beautiful waterfalls in the world. It is one of the rare waterfalls located right in the city center.

The program of the waterfall jumps event in Jajce begins at 12 PM with the promotion of the book "Sportski vremeplov" (Sports Chronicle) by sports journalist Muhamed Bikić, with promoters being the legend of Mostar jumps Emir Balić and Vlatko Glavaš.

The jumps will take place starting at 4 PM.

Among those competing in the waterfall jumps will be the best jumper from Kosovo, Florid Gashi, this year's winner of the Jumps from the Švan Bridge in Đakovica. Young Florid Gashi is coming to Jajce accompanied by his coach Avdyl Osmani.

The president of the jury for this year's waterfall jumps in Jajce is the most popular Mostar jumper, Emir Balić.

Tourism experts have for several years ranked Jajce as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, which, in addition to the waterfall in the city center, offers tourists the beauty of the Pliva Lakes, religious tourism, and abundant remains from medieval Bosnia, reports NAP.
