Everyone to Wilson's Promenade: Džumhur, Teletović and Tuka to Compete with Citizens

A gathering of three top BH athletes – tennis player Damir Džumhur, athlete Amel Tuka and captain of the basketball national team Mirza Teletović – with children, citizens and all those who come that day will be held at Wilson's Promenade on Thursday, August 13, writes BH news agency Patria.

This interesting event was announced today by Damir Džumhur at a press conference, where he said that he wanted to invite our best athletes to a gathering and that this time the choice fell on these athletes.

- We are in Sarajevo at this time and I received their support, the support of sponsors and the Youth Sports Games and UNICEF. The desire was for all of us to gather to highlight the problems that BH has in sports - said Džumhur.

He added that at Wilson's Promenade there will be three courts: a basketball court, a tennis court and a running track.

- All three of us will try our hand at all three sports.

Džumhur also commented on his game and what awaits him in the coming period.

- The season has already been quite successful for me, but I want to continue to improve my ranking. I have nothing more to defend until the end of the year, and I can certainly play the second part of the season more calmly. I took a slightly longer break than before. I think that all these tournaments I played have affected me and I think it's time for rest and preparation for the continuation of the season. I will play a 250 series tournament in Halle and I think it will be good preparation for the US Open - said Džumhur.
