(Patria) - The rescue team from Serbia left Bosnia and Herzegovina today, marking the end of the rescue mission of international teams in the flood-affected areas.
At the invitation of the Ministry of Security of BiH, through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, rescue teams from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro arrived in the flooded areas.
Over the past week, they participated in the search for missing persons, while engineering units assisted in repairing the consequences of the floods.
Through the EU Mechanism, assistance was also provided for the accommodation of persons whose homes were destroyed or damaged in the floods (a total of 75 containers from Turkey and Croatia), electricity generators, water pumps, and other equipment necessary for the accommodation of displaced persons.
