All COVID wards at the General Hospital are full, 19 patients admitted overnight

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš" General Hospital in Sarajevo recorded the highest number of hospitalized patients since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in the past 24 hours. There are currently 127 patients undergoing hospital treatment in the COVID wards of this healthcare institution, of whom 6 are in intensive care and 2 are in semi-intensive care. Yesterday, there were 110 patients hospitalized.

During the previous night, there were 60 examinations and 264 services provided in the COVID triage clinic, and 19 moderately and severely ill patients were admitted for hospitalization.

One patient was transferred from the General Hospital to the clinic at Podhrastovi, and 6 were discharged home. This morning, 11 patients are under observation in the triage clinic. In the past 4 months, more than 800 patients have been hospitalized in the COVID wards of the General Hospital.

At the same time, efforts continue to organize work in the non-COVID wards of the General Hospital. Yesterday, 58 patients were admitted for hospital treatment, and 41 were discharged. A total of 1,311 examinations were performed, 5,485 services were provided, and 20 surgical procedures were carried out.
