Ceremony at the National Theatre: Promotion of 42 Doctors of Science of the University of Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The promotion of Doctors of Science of the University of Sarajevo will be held today starting at 1:00 PM at the National Theatre Sarajevo, observing all valid epidemiological protection measures.

Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Vice-Rectors of the University of Sarajevo, and Deans of faculties will promote 42 male and female candidates to the degree of Doctor of Science.

Striving towards a knowledge society, the University of Sarajevo will promote: 9 candidates to the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, 5 candidates to the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences, 4 candidates to the degree of Doctor of Legal Sciences, 3 candidates to the degree of Doctor of Linguistic Sciences, 2 candidates each to the degree of Doctor of Political Sciences, Doctor of Administrative Sciences, Doctor of Literary History Sciences, and Doctor of Chemical Sciences, and 1 candidate each to the degree of Doctor of Social Work Sciences, Doctor of Sciences in the field of Sport and Physical Education, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Doctor of Security Sciences, Doctor of Islamic Sciences, Doctor of Social Sciences, Doctor of Health Sciences, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Doctor of Educational Sciences, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Doctor of Food Technology Sciences, Doctor of Biological Sciences, and Doctor of Veterinary Sciences.

The ceremony is organized as part of the celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the University of Sarajevo and the December Ceremonial Days of UNSA.
