All Set for the Spectacle: 'Sarajevo Fight Night 2' on October 31

At the Olympic beauty Bjelašnica, in Hotel Han, the first press conference was held for „Sarajevo Fight 2“, which will take place on October 31 at the Skenderija Youth Center, reports the news agency Patria.  

Those present included the organizers, some participants, and a special guest, our boxer Damir Beljo, who the night before defended the European champion title in the cruiserweight category according to the WBO version.

-I am extremely pleased to have arrived at today's press conference for this event. Thank you for your great support, for the congratulations I received after the match. I am sorry that I will not be able to be present in Sarajevo on the day of this true spectacle, because on October 26 I am traveling to Florida, said Beljo, among other things, who arrived at Bjelašnica at the invitation of his great friend and organizer of this event, Mensur Peljto, „Kamp sport Peljto“.

-I would like to thank Damir for being with us today. Everything is ready for this true fighting spectacle. Thank you to everyone who supported this event, and I invite you to come on Friday, October 30, to the last press conference, when the official weigh-in will also take place, said Peljto, who also introduced the fighters present at this event: Ali Ježa, Adnan Halilović, Samir Begić, Merima Bašić, Memnun Hadžić, Edin Puhalo, and Irma Balijagić.

All the fighters briefly addressed those present, as did promoter Dalibor Ban.

-On behalf of the organizers, I want to emphasize that these are quality matches, and that the local fighters will face great challenges on October 3, said Ban.

For „Sarajevo Fight Night 2“, 900 tickets will be put on sale: 700 standing and 200 seating. After the preliminary matches (Csutakuj Daniel – Ali Jež, Hamori Adam – Adnan Halilović, Urban Laszlo – Samir Begić, Benke Sara – Merime Bašić), a live broadcast on Hayat TV will follow of the fights (Memnun Hadžić – Aleksandar Aksentijević, Marino Goleš – Mohammed Ali Durmaz, Edin Puhalo – Diallo Ali, and Irma Balijagić – Mirjana Vučić).
