The Congress of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held on Saturday, October 3, in the "Mirza Delibašić" hall of KSC Skenderija in Sarajevo.
At the Congress, a new convocation of the Main Board (110 members) and the Supervisory Board (11 members) will be elected, and the Statute and Program of SDP BiH will be changed, writes the Patria News Agency. After the appointments, the Main Board will elect the vice-presidents of the SDP, the members of the Presidency, as well as the general secretary of the party.
Earlier, in internal party elections, Nermin Nikšić was elected president of the SDP, and his term of office will be officially confirmed at the Congress.
The SDP announced the arrival of as many as 859 delegates at the Congress, which will make it the largest party congress in BiH, writes NAP.
