Every second citizen in RS does not support Dodik's referendum

The President of the Referendum Commission in RS, Siniša Karan, stated that out of a total of 1,219,399 voters, 680,116, or 55.67 percent of citizens with the right to vote, participated in the referendum.

- To the question 'Do you support the marking and celebration of January 9th as the Day of the Republika Srpska?', 677,721 citizens voted yes, or 99.81 percent of citizens who participated in the referendum - Karan said.

1,291, or 0.19 percent, voted no. There were 2,264 invalid ballots.

Karan said that 1,885 polling stations were organized, and 27 polling stations abroad.

The final report will be submitted to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska for adoption, and the results will be published in the Official Gazette.
