Fight in the SDA Caucus: Sarajlić Choked Ahmetović!

At today's session of the SDA Caucus, held during a break in the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, there was first a verbal altercation, and then Asim Sarajlić physically attacked Sadik Ahmetović, reports the news agency Patria.

It all started at the session when a vote was taken on the agenda item of the reform agenda proposed by Nikola Špirić. As there was no agreement among the representatives, a break was called.

The SDA representatives withdrew to their rooms, where they continued discussing today's parliamentary session.

However, other topics were also opened, the SDA Congress, the election of leadership, and at one point Ahmetović told Sarajlić that he was fed up with talk about Bakir Izetbegović and Dževad Mahmutović.

Sarajlić then jumped up, approached Ahmetović and, with the words „don't you talk about my president and who are you to speak about my president“, began choking him.

As Patria learns, the SDA Caucus, incidentally, does not hold sessions to agree on a joint approach on agenda items, and this is probably one of the reasons why the fight broke out.

For the record, four SDA representatives Šemsudin Mehmedović, Sadik Ahmetović, Salko Sokolović and Senad Šepić sent a clear message at the beginning of this month that they would not subordinate their activities within the state Parliament to the wishes of SDA President Bakir Izetbegović, and that they would vote for everything that is exclusively in the interest of the state and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since that moment, Izetbegović has had no control over the four of them.
