House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly meets tomorrow: New session interruption not ruled out

(Patria) - The agenda of tomorrow's emergency session of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly includes 27 items, with the first 23 concerning the granting of consent for the ratification of various loan and project agreements.

At this moment, no one can say with certainty how tomorrow's session will unfold. What repeats from session to session is the debate on the agenda, given that Collegium member Kemal Ademović (NIP) has claimed for several sessions that he was not consulted and does not agree with the proposed agenda.

Additionally, eight delegates have repeatedly requested that the House decide on changes to the agenda items, as there is no consensus in the Collegium, but this was rejected by the presiding officer Nikola Špirić. For this reason, sessions have been interrupted or delegates whose initiatives were not accepted and who warned about violations of the Rules of Procedure have left. The same delegates requested that dismissals be considered first, followed by other items, but this has been skillfully avoided so far.

On tomorrow's agenda, item 24 is the request of delegate Marina Pendeš to consider the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina under an urgent procedure.

The last three items on the agenda are proposals for the dismissal of Nikola Špirić, the removal of two SNSD ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH, Staša Košarac and Srđan Amidžić, and the removal of deputy ministers in the Council of Ministers of BiH: Aleksandar Goganović, Deputy Minister of Defense; Ognjen Janjić, Deputy Minister of Communications and Transport; and Marijana Mojić, Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs.

A group of delegates forming the majority in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly (the Bosniak Club, two delegates from the Serb Club, and Zlatko Miletić from the Croat Club) could propose an amendment to the agenda tomorrow, specifically that dismissals be considered first, followed by other agenda items.

It is not ruled out that tomorrow's session may not be held, or that it may be interrupted due to a loss of quorum, which is held by SNSD, HDZ with three delegates each, or the Bosniak Club, which includes two delegates from SDS, and one each from SBiH, NIP, and DF.
