Construction work to begin at Ilidža tram roundabout tomorrow, traffic regime change announced

(Patria) - Construction work will begin at the Ilidža tram roundabout in the morning tomorrow. The work is being carried out as part of the Ilidža - Hrasnica tram line construction project.

This is the first work of this kind at the roundabout since its construction in 1961, meaning after more than 60 years.

During the construction period, there will be a change in the traffic regime, as tram traffic will not operate on the Ilidža - Baščaršija line, but on the Nedžarići - Baščaršija route and vice versa.

Instead of trams, buses will run from Ilidža to Nedžarići and from Nedžarići to Ilidža. Bus transportation from Ilidža to Nedžarići and vice versa will be free for citizens.

During the construction, temporary, clearly marked bus stops will be set up in Ilidža and Nedžarići.

The Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton thanks citizens in advance for their patience and understanding during the construction work.
