February pensions payment starts tomorrow

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Payment of pensions for February 2019 begins on Tuesday, March 5, it was decided at a session of the Management Board of the Federal Pension and Disability Insurance Institute, it was announced on the official website of this institute.

In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Federation of February 22, 2019, minimum pensions will be increased by 3.2 percent, and the amount of the minimum pension will increase from the current 348.06 KM to 359.20 KM.

As specified by the aforementioned decision of the Government, the application of the increase begins on January 1, so users of the minimum pension will, along with the increased pension for February, also receive the difference between the paid and increased pension for January 2019.

The amounts of other pensions remain at the level of the previous month, and accordingly, the guaranteed pension is 450.12 KM, while the amount of the highest pension is 2,174.48 KM.

The total funds required for the payment of pensions for February amount to approximately 180 million KM.
