Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the crime against prisoners of the Kamenica camp near Drvar

The Association of Prisoners' Unions of the Una-Sana Canton and the Association of Prisoners in Bosnia and Herzegovina are organizing tomorrow the commemoration of the anniversary of the crime against prisoners of the Kamenica concentration camp near Drvar, starting at 11 a.m., reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

In the Kamenica camp, which was operational from 1992 to 1995, Bosniaks from the municipalities of Bihać, Bosanski Petrovac, and Bosanska Krupa were killed and beaten to death in solitary confinement in a bestial manner. More than 200 prisoners passed through this camp, of whom 50 were killed.

For the crimes in the Kamenica camp, before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Rodić was finally sentenced to eight years in prison for criminal acts of crimes against humanity and crimes against prisoners of war, and Ratko Dronjak, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison for criminal acts of crimes against humanity and war crimes against the civilian population, reports NAP.
