A march along the paths of the Hrasno brdo detachment fighters and other related activities will mark the 22nd anniversary of the defense of Hrasno brdo tomorrow, announced the Association "Hrasno brdo Detachment of Novo Sarajevo Municipality", reports the BH News Agency Patria.
It was emphasized that nurturing and preserving the memory of the honorable heroic struggle of the fighters and the crystal clear war path of the Hrasno brdo Detachment, as well as nurturing the entire legacy of the defense-liberation war from '92-'95 of the Army of RBiH, is extremely important.
As part of the commemoration of the defense of Hrasno brdo, a small-sided football tournament "Hrasno brdo 2014" will be played, with 16 teams from across the Canton of Sarajevo registered, and the arrival of a football team from Srebrenica has also been announced.
- We believe that marking significant dates of the defense-liberation war is an extremely useful deed that should attract the attention of citizens to these important moments in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, not only of Novo Sarajevo Municipality, but of the entire Canton of Sarajevo and even BiH - announced the association, reports Patria.
