(Patria) - Sutka Selimović Albarawy from Cairo spoke to FTV about the problem of evacuation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the separation of families due to procedures that BiH authorities have not yet completed.
"Once again I want to thank the Bosnian embassy for what they did for us, for pulling us out of death. I also want to thank the State of Qatar for ensuring we are in a hotel to relax and recover and come to BiH. But what is the problem. There are 36 of us, we hoped that within 72 hours we would leave Egypt and go to BiH," she says.
She also states that they were shaken by the news that 14 of them are leaving, while the rest, as she says, go on some other flight.
"Half of the family goes, and half stays. In my family, my daughter Dalila goes, but her children stay here. I am leaving, but I am leaving my children and grandchildren. That shocked us greatly. We all stood up, we said that no one would leave. After that, they said that plans would change. From the embassy they told us that there would be a solution for all of us to leave together, but no one is telling us anything yet."
We are all wondering what will happen to us, she said.
"Tell us what is happening so we can calm down. Like this, we cannot," she stated.
