Sušić: I am certainly the most hated person now

At the press conference after the match, coach Safet Sušić congratulated Israel on their victory.

- They wanted it more, they desired it more, and there are no objections to their victory tonight. They outplayed us where we thought we were strongest - technically - said Sušić.

One of the journalists' questions related to his potential departure from the bench of the BiH team, to which the coach replied that it would be known soon.

- For a while, I was among the most popular people, after qualifying for the World Cup. Now I am certainly the most hated, so let me see what that is like. You will find out my decision soon - said Sušić.

Our team continues the qualifiers on March 28 with a match against Andorra. Chances for qualifying for Euro 2016 are minimal.

The BiH national team was defeated on Sunday at the "Sammy Ofer" stadium in Haifa by Israel with a score of 0:3 (0:2), in the fourth round of Group B of the EP qualifiers.

In the first half, our team had several chances to score, but Pjanić, Hajrović, Lulić, and Medunjanin were not accurate. In the 36th minute, the home team took the lead with a goal by Gil Vermouth, and Omer Damari increased the lead to 2:0 in the 45th minute.

The second half began with a red card for Toni Šunjić, who committed a foul as the last defender. By the end of the match, Israel scored another goal, and the scorer was Eran Zahavi in the 70th minute.
