Adnan Maličević, an agronomist from the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences in Sarajevo, claims that fruit growers should not worry about the warmer autumn, which has even caused blossoms to appear on some fruit.
Maličević told the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP) that the vegetation of the fruit has ended and there is no fear that the weather will negatively affect the life of the fruit trees.
Fruit growers are concerned about the warm November days. They fear that the nice weather could coax the fruit into budding, which would be destroyed by the first frost.
- That will not happen – said Maličević.
