Sunny and cold in Bosnia and Herzegovina, temperatures down to -22 degrees Celsius

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sunny in Herzegovina today. Sunny in Bosnia in the morning. In the second half of the day, moderate cloud increase from the north in Bosnia.

In his three-day weather forecast, meteorologist Nedim Sladić states that today the influence of a vast anticyclone centered over Bosnia and Herzegovina continues, while the influence of a warm front moves further north.

Mostly clear and very cold in the morning and forenoon.

The influx of more humid and warmer air at lower atmospheric levels from the northwest will cause a temporary increase in cloudiness from midday to afternoon, more likely in the north and northwest of the country.

A previously clear night, light wind, snow on the ground, and pronounced longwave ground radiation will create ideal conditions for extremely low air temperatures throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina – morning temperatures from -18 to -8, in the highlands, plateaus, and mountains of central and eastern Bosnia, locally down to -22 °C, and daytime temperatures from -6 to 1, in the south up to 6 °C.

Mostly clear and very cold in Sarajevo. During the day, a transient increase in medium-layered cloudiness. Morning temperature around -16, and the highest daily temperature around -5 °C.
