Suljagić: US Embassy confirmed what I said over a month ago

Emir Suljagić, DF candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency, issued a statement saying he wants to welcome the statement by the director of the US Agency for International Development in BiH, David Barth, and Colonel Scott Miller, the Defense Attaché at the US Embassy in our country, who today, in a joint text, pointed out what I have been saying for months: that the parties in power are united in crime and unified in plunder, while the people are united in poverty and unique in misery.

- The Embassy of the United States of America has thereby confirmed what I said more than a month ago, which is that the donor conference was a complete fraud, or rather, throwing dust in the eyes of the citizens of BiH. My claim that Zlatko and Bakir have indebted Bosnia and Herzegovina by a record 1.3 billion marks has proven to be completely true. The purpose of the show they put on then was to save themselves from inevitable defeat in the elections, all at the expense of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As Barth and Miller state in their joint article, four months have passed since the first floods, and Bakir and Zlatko, or their government, have neither a plan nor any serious idea they can offer for recovery. The flood victims have received almost nothing from the two of them except empty promises and excuses. Instead, both of them quickly used international aid to patch up existing holes in the budget with money from new loans, which resulted from their policies, and very little funds went to those affected by the floods.

The current authorities have exploited the misery that has befallen this nation, using it to fill budget holes, because they are only concerned about themselves, while the people of this country do not interest them – the statement reads.
