Šuker visits FFBiH: Seeks support for UEFA Executive Committee member

Davor Šuker, president of the Football Federation of Croatia, arrived at the premises of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for a meeting with Elvedin Begić, president of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the reporter of the BH News Agency Patria.

Šuker told reporters that he was very pleased to be meeting with Begić today, who is also his friend, and stated that he is seeking the support of the FF of BiH to become a member of the UEFA Executive Committee.

- The HNS, just like the one in BiH, is part of these smaller federations, but our voice is equally important, so if I become a member, I will fight for the smaller federations – said Šuker.

Begić emphasized that there is a great friendship between the two federations, which was particularly evident during the preparations for the trip to Brazil for the World Cup.

- You know, it was our first time at a major competition, and Croatia had experience with that, so their help was necessary for us and we truly received it, and it was of great importance to us. In any case, I am pleased to be able to host Šuker - said Begić.
Otherwise, both expressed hope that both selections will qualify for the European Championship in France.
