Due to the inability of one of the accused to attend the hearing because of illness, the trial for the recapitalization of Energopetrol Sarajevo was postponed again today, reports the Patria news agency.
A new hearing at the Sarajevo Municipal Court has been scheduled for March 9.
In connection with the recapitalization process of Energopetrol, the accused are members of the Commission for Recapitalization of this company – Kasema Ćatović (Commission Chairperson), Ahmed Žilić, Mirko Puljić, Sead Kreso, Safet Proho, Anka Šešlija, and Alma Haseta, as well as the former executive director of general affairs and director of Energopetrol, Namik Bušatlić, and Nedžad Branković, former Prime Minister of the Federation and Federal Minister of Transport and Communications.
The indictment charges them with criminal offenses – concluding a harmful contract, aiding in the conclusion of a harmful contract, and negligent work in office.
According to the indictment, they concluded a harmful contract with the INA-MOL consortium for the recapitalization of Energopetrol, causing damage of 32 million KM to this company and the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
