Court lifts ban, strike continues at SKB Mostar

(Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Mostar has accepted the appeal of the Independent Union of Employees of the University Clinical Hospital (SKB) Mostar and lifted the measure banning the strike at that Mostar hospital, which was imposed by an earlier ruling of the Municipal Court Mostar.

The Independent Union of Employees of SKB Mostar announced that the healthcare workers' strike will continue on Saturday, October 25, starting at 7 a.m.

Recall, at the request of the Government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Welfare of the HNC, the Municipal Court Mostar earlier issued a decision prohibiting the Independent Union of Employees of SKB from organizing a strike.

Union members are demanding improved working conditions, salary increases, and compliance with the collective agreement.
