(Patria) - The court in Sokolac today delivered a verdict finding Sarajevans Esad J. and Elvis G. guilty of damaging the plaque at Vrace dedicated to convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić.
By the verdict, Esad J. and Elvis G. must pay BAM 6,000, of which BAM 5,000 must be paid to the Veterans Organization of Istočno Novo Sarajevo. The two of them have no right to appeal this verdict.
The plaque, located at the entrance to Istočno Sarajevo, on the walls of the Vraca memorial park, was damaged on January 8, 2022.
Due to the damage, Esad J. and Elvis G. were apprehended and questioned at the East Sarajevo Police Station.
