Court of BiH rejects appeals: Nenad Nešić and others remain in custody

(Patria) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has made a decision rejecting the appeals of the defenders of suspects Nenad Nešić, Mladen Lučić, and Milan Dakić against the decision of December 28, 2024.

Deciding on the appeals of the defenders of the suspects in the case of Nenad Nešić and others, filed against the decision of December 28, 2024, and after examining the contested decision within the scope of the appeal allegations, the Court made a decision on December 30, 2024, by which the appeals of the defenders of suspects Nenad Nešić, Mladen Lučić, and Milan Dakić were rejected as unfounded.

By the decision of the Court of BiH of December 28, 2024, the suspects Nenad Nešić, Mladen Lučić, and Milan Dakić were ordered into custody for reasons prescribed by Article 132, Paragraph 1, Point b) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, which, according to this decision, can last for a maximum of one month, counting from the day of arrest, i.e., until January 26, 2025, or until a new decision by the Court.

We remind you that the suspects Nenad Nešić, Mladen Lučić, and Milan Dakić are accused of committing the criminal offenses of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses under Article 249 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), money laundering under Article 209 of the CC BiH; abuse of official position or authority under Article 315 of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska (CC RS); abuse of official position or authority under Article 383 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC FBiH), and bribery under Article 319 of the CC RS.
