
(Patria) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the case of Sanja Kriještorac et al., and in relation to the BiH Prosecutor's Office's proposal to impose restrictive measures on journalist Nataša Miljanović Zubac, concluded that there is no reasonable suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of disclosing secret data.
Given the increased public interest, and in order to provide accurate, timely, and objective information, the Court issues the following statement:
"The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the case of Sanja Kriještorac et al., deciding on the ordered proposal of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, after a hearing held on 18.08.2025, issued a Decision by which restrictive measures were imposed on the suspects Sanja Kriještorac and Andrea Mujkić, prohibiting them from meeting with certain persons referred to in Article 126.a, paragraph 1, point c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH and prohibiting them from undertaking certain business activities or official duties referred to in Article 126.a, paragraph 1, point a) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, and rejected the proposal of the BiH Prosecutor's Office to impose travel bans referred to in Article 126, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH and the obligation to periodically report to the competent state authority referred to in Article 126.a, paragraph 1, point d) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH on the suspects Sanja Kriještorac and Andrea Mujkić.
The imposed restrictive measures, according to these suspects, may last according to this decision as long as they are necessary or until a different decision by the Court.
The justification for the duration of the imposed restrictive measures will be reviewed every 2 (two) months.
The suspects have been specifically warned that detention may be imposed if they violate any obligation imposed by this Decision.
At the same time, in relation to the suspect Nataša Miljanović Zubac, the Court determined that the general condition for imposing the proposed restrictive measures has not been met, i.e., that there is no reasonable suspicion that this suspect has committed the criminal offense of Disclosure of Secret Data from Article 164, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of BiH, and rejected the proposal of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
