CONCISE STATEMENT Dodik with Orban: Stability and peace in the Western Balkans region important for Hungary

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik today in Banja Luka pointed to the commitment of Republika Srpska to the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with respect for the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whereby RS retains the right to reclaim competencies in accordance with the Dayton Agreement and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region was discussed, as well as possibilities for improving economic cooperation between Republika Srpska and Hungary, according to a statement from the Cabinet of the Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Orbán said that stability and peace in the Western Balkans region are important for Hungary, and that the focus should be on improving relations at all levels, as well as on economic cooperation.

The meeting between the Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Hungarian Prime Minister, which was attended by the President of the Government of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković and Minister of Foreign Affairs Péter Szijjártó, was held in a friendly atmosphere, it is stated.
