Decision on sending BiH citizens into self-isolation enters into force

(Patria) - This morning at 6 AM, the decision that all citizens of BiH entering our country will be sent into self-isolation entered into force, with the aim of preventing the spread of coronavirus. By the decision of the crisis staffs, adopted at a meeting in Doboj on March 13, any violation of the issued self-isolation order is subject to criminal prosecution of the negligent violator who received the order.

The Border Police of BiH was officially informed of this last night through the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH. The Council of Ministers of BiH, at yesterday's session, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Security of BiH, adopted the Decision on prescribing additional conditions for the entry of foreigners into Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This concerns the prohibition of entry for foreigners coming from certain areas with intensive transmission of coronavirus, in order to prevent the spread and suppression of infectious diseases, i.e., coronavirus –

COVID - 19, as well as possession of a certain type of travel document. Entry is prohibited for foreign nationals entering Bosnia and Herzegovina from areas with intensive coronavirus transmission, especially from: provinces of the People's Republic of China (Wuhan), South Korea, Japan, Italy, Iran, France, Romania, Federal Republic of Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, and Belgium.
