Experts from the Louvre to assist the National Museum of BiH

Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adil Osmanović and the Ambassador of France to BiH Claire Bodoni discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of culture and sports. Special attention in the discussion was paid to the state of the National Museum of BiH in Sarajevo, and the French Ambassador announced that her country will help arrange the room for storing the Haggadah, writes Patria.

She also announced that the French museum Louvre has expressed a desire for cooperation in order to train staff for quality management of the National Museum.

Minister Osmanović welcomed the possibility of establishing cooperation with the Louvre and emphasized that the National Museum has exceptional significance that transcends the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also, the need for cooperation in the fight against illegal trade in works of art was highlighted, as well as for signing an agreement on film co-production, for which there is already significant interest from filmmakers.

Ambassador Bodoni expressed her country's readiness to contribute to the organization of the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) by preparing a study on the condition of ski resorts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the necessary investments. Minister Osmanović and Ambassador Bodoni expressed satisfaction with the activities being undertaken in BiH for the organization of this sports event, which will be held in 2019.
