Strossmayerova Street Restored to its Former Glory

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - With the start of the construction season, the City of Sarajevo continues with its city beautification project, and these days the renovation and restoration of facades in the famous Strossmayerova Street has begun, announced the City Administration of Sarajevo.

The project is fully financed by the City of Sarajevo.

"We are restoring the former glory to the buildings in the very center of the city. Facades are our face, the city's identity. These buildings, with their architectural appearance and value, deserve our special care. Projects like these create a pleasant living environment, but also enhance the overall impression and memories of guests and tourists who are increasingly visiting the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina," emphasized Mayor Abdulah Skaka.

The project documentation was prepared by the Cantonal Institute for the Protection of Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage of Sarajevo, under whose supervision the works will be carried out.
