
(Patria) - The news that High Representative Christian Schmidt will appear before the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg to present his view on the "Kovačević" case has sparked a wave of reactions.
Among those who have strongly objected to Schmidt's intention is Dutch Member of the European Parliament Tineke Strik.
"I strongly urge High Representative Christian Schmidt to abandon any kind of 'own-initiative intervention' in the 'Kovačević' case, even as a private individual.
