Štrbački buk, the most beautiful waterfall on the Una River

Štrbački buk is the most beautiful waterfall on the Una River, near the settlements of Kulen Vakuf and Orašac, near the BiH border with Croatia. 24 meters high, it attracts the attention of tourists from all over the world, writes Patria.

Štrbački buk actually consists of several waterfalls, one next to the other. It is part of the Una National Park.

It is located at an altitude of 294 meters and, along with the Martin Brod waterfalls, represents the most beautiful waterfall on the Una River, as well as in this part of Europe. These waterfalls have been attracting the attention of nature lovers, as well as fishermen, and artists seeking inspiration for their works in the beauties of the Una for decades. Although the waterfalls got their name from the nearby village of Donji Štrbci in Croatia, they are most easily accessed from the Bosnian side, turning off in Orašac onto a macadam road about 7 km long.
