Horror in Sombor, man kills wife and two children

SARAJevo, (Patria) - A fire occurred in Sombor (Serbia) in which four people died. As confirmed for N1, the owner of the house Zdravko Goranović killed his wife and two daughters, and according to unofficial confirmation, then hanged himself. He previously set something on fire in the house, causing the blaze.

Firefighters were notified of the fire around noon, and after the fire was extinguished, police found four people in the house, one of whom was hanged from a beam.

Goranović killed his wife and two daughters – born in 2002 and 2005.

As N1 learns, he was released from custody last week, which was replaced by a restraining order.

Goranović was also arrested in 2010 for threats he made to the then Deputy Public Prosecutor in Sombor, Vladimir Šakić, in whose yard a replica of a hand grenade was found in a shoebox, next to which a threatening message was taped.

"You accused an innocent man. You still have time to act correctly. Otherwise, first material damage, and then we move on. Protect your son first, then your wife, and yourself. Next time, something explosive could be in the package. Think seriously about everything," the computer-written message stated, which Šakić's thirteen-year-old son discovered on the morning of October 22, 2010.
