Party for BiH: Troika's incompetent staff pushed EPBiH into a loss, instead of resigning they expect citizens to pay for poor work

(Patria) - The Party for BiH demands that the competent judicial authorities urgently investigate how a loss of 331 million KM occurred in the operations of JP Elektroprivreda BiH.

"We call on the Prosecutor's Office to react and prevent further destruction of this state-owned company.

It is necessary, above all, to investigate whether harmful contracts were concluded, how the operations of the mines were brought into question, and where the money of taxpayers who regularly pay for electricity was spent.

SBiH has been warning for months about possible embezzlement by the current authorities, and now it has come to light how state-owned companies are being managed.

Instead of the authorities dealing with how to help the population that can barely make ends meet, with the announced increase in electricity prices, the ruling Troika is trying to compensate for the loss of 331 million KM from citizens, including the most economically vulnerable categories of society such as pensioners.

In addition to households, more expensive electricity will also affect kindergartens, soup kitchens, student dormitories and religious facilities.

Therefore, we expect Troika's director Sanel Buljubašić and the management of this public company to resign because such actions will completely destroy the power industry and mines," SBiH stated.
