Party of BiH: Prevent Nationalist Rampage

The Cantonal Board of the Party of BiH reacted to the latest nationalist outbursts, which the BiH news agency Patria wrote about this morning.

- Regarding the nationalist rampage last night in the area of the former first defense line of the Sarajevo settlement of Dobrinja, and the city of Sarajevo, as well as the derogatory shouts of “Knife, wire, Srebrenica”, and the vandalism against the Čaršija Mosque in Prijedor and the Ferhadija Mosque in Banja Luka, the Cantonal Board of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina Sarajevo calls on the competent authorities to IMMEDIATELY take all necessary measures to prevent nationalist rampages and provocations in the future, and potential inter-ethnic conflicts - the statement reads.

The Cantonal Board of SBiH calls on the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS to increase police patrols and protect the frightened and disturbed citizens of Dobrinja from the rampage of masked groups, and to ensure public order and peace.

- At the same time, we demand that the Government of the smaller BiH entity find the perpetrators of the vandalism against the religious buildings of Bosniaks. The Cantonal Board of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina Sarajevo believes that raising inter-ethnic tensions during the election campaign and diverting attention from economic issues benefits those political options that have done nothing in the last 4 years to improve the living standards of citizens, and fulfill the given, unfulfilled promises from four years ago - it was announced, reports Patria.
