Ramo Isak's Party Aims for Power in Sarajevo Canton

Thanks to the president of People and Justice, Elmedin Konaković, Ramo Isak became the Minister of Internal Affairs in the FBiH Government. In the previous General Elections, he entered the Assembly of Zenica-Doboj Canton as a candidate for NES, and he left that party just a few days before he was formally nominated for the Minister of Internal Affairs in the FBiH Government.

We remind you that NES and the Party for BiH were supposed to join the FBiH Government at the time, but they withdrew from the "eight-party coalition", and overnight Konaković found a solution in Ramo Isak. He did not pay much attention to the negative reactions that followed, stating that he stood behind Ramo Isak and whatever he did, good or bad.

With only one vote, cast by his own son in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, the Isaks secured power for themselves. Very soon after, the appointment of the second son as director of KPZ Zenica followed. However, the Isak family did not stop there.

In July 2023, Ramo Isak and his sons founded the political party Snaga naroda (People's Strength).

In the upcoming local elections, they have registered in 37 municipalities for municipal and city councils. Regarding candidates for mayors, Snaga naroda has had its applications approved for three municipalities: Visoko, Zavidovići, and Novo Sarajevo.

When it comes to municipal councils, Ramo Isak's party has been approved in eight municipalities in Sarajevo Canton (Ilijaš, Hadžići, Ilidža, Novi Grad, Vogošća, Centar, Stari Grad, Novo Sarajevo).

It is no secret that Isak is interested in political activity in Sarajevo, and these local elections will be his entry ticket.
Similarly, he is expanding his private business to Sarajevo, for which he also needs political power. The commissioner for KS of Snaga naroda is Vedran Dodik.

Ramo Isak's mandate is accompanied by various controversies. From inappropriate statements about whom he will arrest, to helicopter rides whether necessary or not.

The Central Election Commission sanctioned Ramo Isak's party for premature political campaigning because he released a song and video clip of his political party. He was fined 6,000 KM, and ordered to remove the video clip from all channels and networks.

Isak filed an appeal with the Court of BiH, and the CEC is still awaiting a decision.

On the day of the commemoration and Day of Mourning in FBiH, Isak posted a video on his Instagram profile of a helicopter ride he took near Srebrenica, accompanied by the song Snaga naroda.

Although this video was quickly removed from social networks, the reaction of the CEC is still awaited in this case.
