Strike of RMU Kreka miners suspended until tomorrow

The Trade Union Board of the Trade Union Organization of the "Kreka" Coal Mine has suspended the Decision on organizing a strike for September 26, 2017.

As is known, the Trade Union Board of the Trade Union Organization of the "Kreka" Coal Mine made a Decision on organizing a strike for September 26, 2017, starting at 07:00 AM, due to the fact that employees had not been paid their salaries and other salary compensations for August 2017.

We hereby wish to inform the public that the Trade Union Board of the Trade Union Organization of the "Kreka" Coal Mine in Tuzla, at a session held today, September 25, 2017, starting at 15:30 PM, suspended the Decision on organizing a strike for September 26, 2017.

Namely, the Management and leadership of the "Kreka" Coal Mine in Tuzla have fully respected the request of the Trade Union Organization of the "Kreka" Coal Mine by making payments of salaries and other salary compensations for August 2017 to all employees in accordance with the Collective Agreement on the Rights and Obligations of Employers and Workers in the Field of Mining in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other valid legal regulations (payment of all taxes and contributions).
