Volunteers of the International Forum of Solidarity are intensively cleaning up waste in the Memorial Center in Potočari that remained after the commemoration of the 19th anniversary of the largest genocide in Europe after the Second World War, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
About a hundred volunteers, who gathered from several countries around the world at the International Youth Work Camp – Franco Bettoli “Srebrenica, Road to a New Europe 2014” came to clean the Memorial Center in Potočari after the burial and funeral for 175 identified victims of the Srebrenica genocide. The camp will last until July 26.
The humanitarian organization International Forum of Solidarity – Emmaus (MFS-EMMAUS) was founded in early 1999 in Gračanica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of providing assistance to all vulnerable categories of the population in need of that assistance.
The ninth International Youth Work Camp was opened by Adila Osmanović, Federal Minister for Displaced Persons and Refugees, writes Patria.
