On Thursday, more than 4,300 flights were cancelled in the US, with airports in Dallas, Washington, Philadelphia, and New York being the hardest hit. The National Guard has been deployed to help drivers and take them to warm shelters. In addition to cars, 200 semi-trailers were also stranded.
Due to the snowstorm in the US, hundreds of drivers in Kentucky were left stranded in the snow, including Bosnian citizens who live and work in the US.
Schools have been closed in numerous cities, and the population has been warned of potential dangers.
The photos in the gallery were taken by a Bosnian man, who is also a truck driver in the US.
