Hundreds of supporters at DF rally in BKC: Samer Rešidat will be the new mayor of Centar municipality

The pre-election rally of the Democratic Front (DF) for the Sarajevo municipalities of Stari Grad and Centar was held on Thursday evening, in a packed hall of BKC, NAP reports.

Hundreds of friends and supporters of the civic politics of the Democratic Front came to support the candidates for mayor and municipal councils of this party.

Željko Komšić, the leader of DF, who also came to support the party's candidates, said that DF's policy is a policy of completely new political thinking in BiH, and that it will surely bring changes to the country, wherever DF is in power.

- These people are a completely different Sarajevo, with a completely different way of thinking – Komšić said.

- Look at Samer Rešidat, our candidate for mayor in Centar. In a month, he managed to become the most serious candidate for mayor among all other candidates. And he will surely win – said Komšić, who then turned to Rešidat and the candidates for municipal councils and told them that as politicians, they must always be with their people.

- It is your obligation to help people at all times. And I pledge that the party leadership will never ask anything from you that is not in accordance with the law. Because, in BiH, one must finally start working according to the law – Komšić conveyed. The DF leader reminded that the political campaign of their opponents was dirty over the past month. Especially against Rešidat. But Komšić asked him not to seek revenge against his opponents.

The candidate for mayor of Centar municipality is confident in his victory.

- This is not an ordinary municipality. This is the center of Sarajevo. This is the center of the Federation. This is the center of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Rešidat conveyed.

- I am ashamed to promise you that you will have water, that a dog won't bite you, and that you will have sidewalks. This is the 21st century, surely we should all have that – Rešidat added.

Hamed Hodžić, the holder of the DF list for the Council in the municipality of Stari Grad, conveyed that the city "cannot retain young people if we don't give them opportunities. We cannot attract investors if we don't create conditions for them. That is why DF has created a program that can ensure a better life for everyone," writes NAP.
