Hundreds of hikers from all over BiH paid tribute to Džemal Bijedić, former President of the Federal Executive Council of the SFRY, who died on January 18, 1977, in a plane crash on the Inač mountain near Kreševo in central Bosnia, reports the Patria News Agency.
Hikers from all over BiH come to this mountain every year, on the anniversary of Bijedić's death, in honor of the great politician, who was also a hiker and hunter.
Bijedić, along with his wife, two associates, and the pilots, died in a plane crash that occurred on a flight from Belgrade to Sarajevo. The cause of the plane crash has never been fully resolved. Some analysts believe that Bijedić was murdered, writes NAP.
