HUNDREDS AT FUNERAL Dr. Aida Softić buried at Vlakovo cemetery

(Patria) - The funeral of the tragically deceased Dr. Aida Softić was held today at the Vlakovo City Cemetery. She died on July 30 when a rock fell on the car she was in with her father in the village of Sijeračke stijene on the road to Foča. She was killed, while her father was injured.

Softić was an employee of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service, and a large number of her colleagues came to her final farewell today.

This is a section of the road that drivers had previously warned about, and where landslides have been recorded recently, raising the question of whether anyone will be held responsible for the loss of this young life.

The collective of the Emergency Medical Service had previously bid farewell to Aida.

"We will remember Aida for her cheerful spirit, professionalism, and selfless dedication to her work and patients. The departure of our colleague leaves a great void in our hearts and team, as well as a lasting memory of a wonderful person with whom we had the honor of sharing the daily challenges and humanity of our profession. May God grant her eternal peace and the highest place in Paradise," they wrote, reports Faktor.

Today, a convoy of Emergency Medical Service vehicles passed through the main road, thus paying their last respects to their deceased colleague.
