Oscar winner Oliver Stone, a world-renowned director, walked the red carpet of the 23rd Sarajevo Film Festival tonight. He posed for journalists with his wife, and in a statement to BHRT he said that he is glad to see how much Sarajevo has been built since the last time he was there, writes the Patria agency.
- I was in Sarajevo in 2002, and today you can see that the city is alive, a lot has been built - said Stone, who arrived in Sarajevo this afternoon.
He briefly walked through the area where the audience was standing, took photos, greeted people, and signed autographs. Stone is also the recipient of the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award, and when asked how he felt, he said:
- I heard that the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award represents the feelings of the people, and I am very honored to receive this award - said Stone.
