After the meeting, Stoltenberg addressed the media and stated that the security situation in BiH and the region was discussed, and that allies strongly support BiH's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
"Secessionist policies undermine security, as does Russia's malign influence. However, all leaders must work towards progress. The stability of this region is extremely important to us, and we are committed to it.
We are now deepening our cooperation. The NATO headquarters is present and provides support to the Althea mission. NATO and allies remain committed to this mission and we welcome the extension of the mission's mandate," said Stoltenberg, adding that NATO continues to provide support to BiH.

"Cooperation with NATO provides us with an opportunity to improve security and defense capabilities through peacekeeping missions.
In this way, we enhance the capabilities of the Armed Forces, and these elements ensure that we can effectively respond to all challenges, including terrorism and organized crime," said Krišto.
