Snow and temperature drop expected, stabilization over the weekend

(Patria) - As in the previous period, variable and diverse weather conditions will continue in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the remainder of December. After some places were warmer than ever before since the beginning of instrumental measurements in December at the start of the month, a period with temperatures appropriate for the date we are in is ahead of us.

In addition to significantly lower temperatures, we also expect snow in Bosnia and rain in Herzegovina. From the afternoon hours on Tuesday (05.12.), rain will first affect western and southwestern Bosnia, as well as the Herzegovina region, and will spread to the rest of the country by the end of the day. During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, rain in Bosnia will turn into sleet and snow.

Minimum air temperatures will range from -3°C to 3°C in Bosnia, and from 3°C to 8°C in Herzegovina. Maximum daily temperatures will be between 0°C and 5°C in Bosnia, up to 8°C in the south of the country.

More stable weather conditions and slightly higher air temperatures are likely for the weekend (09. and 10.12.) and the beginning of next week. According to available synoptic materials, precipitation is possible from Thursday (14.12.).

Morning temperatures will range between 0°C and 5°C in Bosnia, up to 9°C in Herzegovina. Maximum expected temperatures will range between 6°C and 12°C, up to 14°C in Herzegovina.
