Stevanović: When you get angry because your sister didn't smile at you at the counter, remember the coronavirus

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Healthcare workers and health service employees are again, as they have been in every major crisis so far, here with you, your fellow citizens, ready to help you, recently announced Dr. Dragan Stevanović, drawing attention to the sacrifice they are making.

“They too are mothers and fathers, and they have children, elderly parents they care for so they don't get infected, but they are here with you.

They are not running away, they are not asking for special privileges for themselves, they are not 'working' from home as some civil servants are demanding to do these days, they are the only ones who cannot leave the country while the crisis lasts in order to help you (priests, imams, politicians, artists, athletes, and others who are your 'idols' can do so)

I beg all of you, when all this is over, when you get angry again because your sister didn't smile at you at the counter, because you waited a long time for an examination, to remember this.

Because this epidemic will pass, another one will come, and we will be here for you again, however we are, or however you perceive us when there are no major challenges,” Stevanović wrote.

So far, 21 people have been confirmed infected with the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
