Šteta and Muzur agreed on the implementation of several projects in Ilidža

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, together with his associates, held a meeting with the Minister of Transport of KS, Adnan Šteta, his assistant Emir Hota, and the director of the Road Directorate, Selmir Kovač.

The topic of the meeting was the cooperation between the Municipality of Ilidža and the Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton in the coming period.

“The support of the Government of Sarajevo Canton in the implementation and continuation of initiated projects in the area of Ilidža municipality, as well as support for new projects that we plan to implement in the coming period, is extremely important to us. We want to thank Minister Šteta for coming and for the agreed cooperation,” emphasized Mayor Muzur.

Minister Šteta said that the Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton has allocated funds for the construction of the Ilidža – Hrasnica tram line in the Sarajevo Canton Budget for 2021, and that the first steps in the implementation of this project have already been taken. He points out that this is an extremely important project not only for the municipality of Ilidža but also for the Sarajevo Canton.

At the meeting, the continuation of initiated activities was agreed upon, as well as new projects that will be planned and implemented with the support of the Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton in the area of Ilidža municipality, with the aim of improving the quality of life of citizens.
